Workshop Learning Materials Development

After mapping all the topics within each of the 5 BRiTE modules, we created a series of new workshop materials, one for each of the 12 Professional Learning Focus Areas (on previous page). Within each professional learning focus area, such as Working with Mentors, or Lesson Goals and Lesson Planning, we embedded selected material from the BRiTE modules, so the workshop activities moved back and forth between resilience topics and professional learning topics.

Each workshop had a common framework of learning activities, comprising:

Engaging – Exploring – Theory in Overview – The Big Picture – Strategies – Case Stories – Scenarios

Material from the BRiTE Modules was embedded in some, or all of these activities for each workshop. An 8-10 page Workshop Materials Booklet was used to support the delivery of learning.
