Context
The University of Wollongong (UOW) is an Australian public research university located in the coastal city of Wollongong, New South Wales, approximately 80 kilometres south of Sydney.
The School of Education offers a diversity of initial teacher education Bachelor and Master of Teaching programs, in addition to a range of post graduate coursework and research programs.
In 2017 the federal government’s Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) ranked UOW as the best university in Australia for Teacher Education. In the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2017, UOW was also ranked in the top 150 universities in the world for Education.
