Promoting Resilience in Higher Education
Module B
Building resilience and the NQS
For our Early Years students, we focus on the concept of resilience as a pre-service teacher and student in our program, recognising that being an Early Years educator may not be as easy as they thought or believed, involving, for example, working children with challenging behaviours. We also focus on taking responsibility for self and actions, drawing on the lived experience for children and teachers with both the promotion and modelling of strategies.
