Our approach
Introduction
The pre-service teachers were enrolled in a unit which comprised nine weeks of preparation for professional experience placement, followed by a 20 day placement in a classroom.
BRITE was introduced through this professional experience unit situated in the third semester of the fourth semester program. In Phase A of the project, in Week 3 of the Semester, the PST’s were introduced to the B module using the Raising Awareness approach, as indicated on the BRITE implementation framework.
