Leading up to starting her first professional experience Rebecca was excited and nervous. She was really looking forward to seeing for herself if she had made the right choice in changing careers to teaching. By the end of the first fortnight, Rebecca was surprised how comfortable she felt working with the students and teaching a class.  It was so much fun - the kids were terrible and wonderful and everything in between.  It really cemented for Rebecca that she wanted to be a teacher.  However, there were potential issues emerging in the professional relationship with her supervising teacher (Lisa).  It seemed that Lisa was always too busy to give substantial guidance or feedback and Rebecca was finding it hard to get information on how she was performing against the set criteria.  Rebecca also felt at times that she needed to conform to the practices of her supervising teacher and to "do things her way" and fit into her systems. This expectation also became a source of stress for Rebecca.   Adding to this, Rebecca was getting the sense that her enthusiasm for teaching was only serving to "annoy" Lisa.
